Daniel Johnson

I'm Daniel Johnson and I have been working as a personal stylist for men since 2009.

When I started this business I would catch the train to London from my hometown, Halifax in Yorkshire. I'd take my clients to Bond Street, Regent Street and Savile Row, which was quite a contrast because I was a barman at the time! In the time since 2009 I trained in tailoring on Savile Row, taught personal styling at some of London's best styling institutions and appeared on the BBC once or twice.

Now I operate from Davies Street in Mayfair to cater for the lifestyles of busy, driven individuals, men who don't have time to walk around the shops, who want a one-stop-convenient-shop, a relaxing oasis in Mayfair and a decent drink too.

Our Experience & Training

The business has been open for 15 years now which is testament to our on-going improvement and drive for efficiency. In nearly 15 years of business there have been over 1500 clients styled, over 9000 garments tailored to fit and 15,000 garments chosen to wear.

With ongoing tailoring training from Savile Row, colour analysis, logistics development, dedicated suppliers and service offerings, well we feel quite well qualified.

We've also developed our own client management system so we can assist our clients in the most effective way possible.

Our Philosophy

Being from Yorkshire, Daniel has built a warm and friendly company that is the opposite of most in the fashion industry. There's no disapproving glares or fake smiles when you walk through our doors, and you'll get a proper cup of tea as well.

We're here to help, to offer the most convenient and personal service that we can so you can get on with life's hectic pace.

We don't publish anything about our clients but we can say that the men who we look after are generally professionals from: entrepreneurial, technology, finance, design, property development and the oil & gas backgrounds.

Why is this important? Because we keep track of what is happening in these industries; such as the suit leaving the daily workplace or the acceptance of facial hair

Where we are located

We chose a welcoming and discreet premises at 53 Davies Street, Mayfair. We want to be as centrally located and convenient as possible for our clients old and new.

We have some great neighbours, including Claridges hotel opposite our window and Alfred Dunhill down the street. We can also visit you at home.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

A note from Daniel: That photo was 10 years ago. I learned the hard way at first, by making lots of mistakes, so now you don’t have to. When I made my own dramatic transformation it took just 8 weeks. In that time I learned the most I've ever learned about personal styling and I have carried on learning ever since.

Now I offer my expertise in a perfectly unique service that makes finding and wearing the right clothes as simple as possible.
